...is this working?

This is my first time using Blogger; I've got a Tumblr and have worked on Wordpress sites before, but this should be a new experience.

I am TERRIBLE at coming up with blog/website names, I'm afraid, so please bear with l1brary20.13...since this will be a blog devoted to library technologies and the way they are shaping the future of library services I thought a play on web 2.0, html5, etc would work.

  1. Can't wait to see what you have to say about library technology! I too am interested in HTML5 and actually was hoping to do a HTML5-based presentation for my YouTube/PPT assignment; however, there aren't many templates yet so such a project would involve a lot of coding.

  2. I have never blogged before! I'm having a devil of time figuring it out. I'm interested in what you will have to say about HTML5. I took basic coding in my undergraduate degree, but some much changed in such a short time. It also took me a while to figure out what exactly what Web 2.0, I think I was thinking in terms of upgrades and such. Bleh. You think you know a lot, but then discover there is so much more to tech stuff!

  4. I feel your pain, Angelica! I have no experience with HTML5 or any kind of coding. I'm hoping to split my track while completing my degree between management and technology; I'm hoping to get some good experience as a student!

  5. Blogging can be a pain if you're not familiar with the site you're blogging on. I'd never used wordpress before and now, three months later, I'm still playing with it and figuring out what works [I'm at spamchamp(dot)wordpress(dot)com]. I feel like Tumblr is easier than wordpress, but Tumblr is really more of a media sharing experience--at least, that's my experience of it.

Looking forward to some of your thoughts on library technology!
